When a country has 23% overall and 50% youth unemployment, it is absurd to assume that the government (with any policy) can find jobs for all these people. The only one who can do it is the free market. So the only relevant government policy is to hide itself somewhere where nobody can see it and leave the society alone to cure its economic weakness ...

(This remark is regarding Spanish "reforms" that are an emblematic instance of stupidity in all Europe)

P.S. The only way a government can hire 50% of young men is by mobilizing them and sending to fight at war...
