The Mini Cube has all of the features as its bigger brother, The-Ice-Cube but it fits into a smaller foot print. It is almost one half the size of The-Ice-Cube yet is capable of delivering 6500 pounds of ice in 12 hours. The compact automatic ice vending machine can fit into places the larger version cannot and can easily be fitted to a trailer, making it mobile. When attempting to place a machine in Tybee Island, Georgia, the local officials requested the machine be placed above flood level. This would require raising the machine eleven feet above ground level. This would not be practical given the location and surrounding businesses. The only other option was to make it removable in the event of a hurricane.
