The Calgary International Airport's Newest Arrival Makes Parking Easy PDF Print E-mail
The Calgary International Airport (YYC) is pleased to launch the first installment of its Parking Made Easy program, a multi-phase project aimed at enhancing the airport guest experience. The Airport has automated the airport parking system by adding 24 Express Pay Stations, responding to the needs of airport travellers and visitors on the move.

"Our guests have indicated that they want their airport experience to be as smooth and easy as possible," said Brian Partington, Director of Land and Transportation Development for The Calgary International Airport. "We've listened to their feedback, and in response, we're thrilled to announce the addition of Express Pay Stations as part of our Parking Made Easy program."

Over the next few months, further Parking Made Easy announcements will treat YYC travellers to a complete parking makeover - starting with the implementation of the Express Pay stations. Business and leisure travellers alike will value Express Pay's speedy transaction system and convenient presence throughout the airport.

The cobalt blue pay stations are located in high traffic areas in the terminal and parkade, and accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Each transaction takes only 30 seconds to complete and upon payment, visitors have 15 minutes to exit the parkade using the airport's new Express Lanes.

Key Express Pay Station features include:

- Bilingual display instructions (English and French);

- Clear, easy-to-use instructions; and

- A convenient HELP button as well as live exit attendants to assist guests who are new to the system, or who have lost their ticket.

In aligning with the YYC's commitment for providing exceptional western hospitality, there are over 200 white hat volunteers in the airport who now showcase "Ask me about Express Pay" buttons and are available to assist guests with the new system. The Parking Made Easy program is just one way that YYC is enhancing its guest experience and operational efficiency.
